Discover your business’s untapped potential

Discover Your Business’s Untapped Potential with The Value Gap Analysis Report

When focusing on sales growth, your existing customers are your greatest asset.

Many businesses focus on enticing new customers instead of encouraging their existing customers (who already know, trust and like them) to spend more, more often.
The probability of selling to existing customers is 60-70%, whereas the likelihood of selling to a new customer is only 5-20%. The opportunity with your existing customers is huge, so why not focus some more attention here instead of prioritising chasing new leads?
By building rapport and forging deeper relationships with your customers, you'll also get clearer on what they really want and how you can give it to them.

Tapping into added value

There are hundreds of ways to build stronger customer relationships to increase your retention rate and average transaction value. Focusing on your existing customers provides the highest return on your investment - it’s cheaper to target them and has a higher likelihood of success.

    Xero Price Update

    Xero Pricing Changes

Xero plans are changing. There will be a phased move to the new plans and Xero hopes to complete this by March 2025.

Xero will ensure that we’re given 60 days’ notice before subscribers are moved over to new plans and they will also be sending out further details on their migration plan and approach in September.

Xero pricing is also changing from 12th September and our support team will be in touch with details.

In other Xero news, beginning the week of 2 September 2024 at 9am NZST, Xero will be defaulting users to the new version of invoicing on a rolling basis. From the time you are defaulted, you will see the new invoicing experience each time you log in to Xero. Xero have extended the availability of classic invoicing, so you can choose to temporarily switch back to it until 20 November at 9am NZDT, when classic invoicing is retired.

In the meantime, further information can be found below.

    The DVA Mid-Winter Function

For our team mid-winter function, we went to Main Course in Auckland City where we cooked in groups at a fabulous funky kitchen. The event was not only a culinary adventure but also a fantastic way to strengthen the team spirit.

We were split into two teams—guys and ladies—and tasked with cooking a three-course meal. Under the guidance of our knowledgeable chef, each team got busy slicing, dicing, and preparing the dishes. From the moment we put on our aprons and listened to the chef's presentation, the atmosphere was filled with laughter and teamwork.

One of the highlights of the day was the flambe—watching the pan ignite with fire  added an element of excitement to the cooking process.

Once the cooking was done, we all sat down together to enjoy the food we prepared, paired with a selection of wines curated by Justin which made the dining experience even more enjoyable.

The feedback from the team was positive, with many expressing that it was the perfect indoor activity for fostering teamwork. We all appreciated the time to chat about everyday things and thumbs up to Kelly for organising such a fun activity for the team.
